“ CSOs on the road to Busan: Key messages and proposals” lays out the main demands from civil society organizations (CSOs) in the run up to the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Busan in November 2011.
It was drafted in consultation with CSOs participating in the BetterAid and Open Forum processes. The final version was drafted following a CSO strategy meeting in Sweden in March 2011.
Civil society organizations (CSOs) participated in a Strategy Meeting on March 14 and 15, 2011, that gathered more than 80 participants from Open Forum and BetterAid from across the globe. The event, which took place at the Sida Partnership Forum in Harnosand, Sweden, saw the Open Forum Global Facilitation Group and the BetterAid Coordinating Group join up for a series of high level meetings and strategy sessions, and was a key moment for the civil society sector towards the 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF-4).

20th June 2011: All candidates wil be informed by the registration secretariat about the outcome of the selection process and will be registered for participation including the pre-meetings.
The 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness will be held in Busan, South Korea on 29 November – 1 December 2011.
BRUSSELS April 6th Figures just released from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) show that donor countries are way off track on delivering the development aid needed to tackle poverty.
BetterAid has reponded to the call by the Working Party on Aid Effectiveness for evidence on implementing the Paris Declaration and Accra Agenda for Action.
